Calaveras Visitors Bureau 'Discover Calaveras' Comes to Copper

Calaveras Visitors Bureau second stop in their Discover Calaveras summer line up was Billie B. Kane's Once Upon a Time on the Square Mercantile in Town Square.  Billie gladly and enthusitically opened her doors to the Calaveras community on Wednesday evening to share her unique and interesting store. Billie carries a vast and varied collection of books and magazines in Once Upon a Time; proudly showcasing local authors and their literary creations. Along with an interactive childrens' section where children can play and read there also are banners, stained glass, candles, toys, seasonal gifts, and so much more.

Ironstone Vineyards was pouring a nice selection of wines adding to the festive occasion.

Discover Calaveras events are offered to the calaveras community at no charge, 'giving the community, as well as visitors, the opportunity to learn more and become active ambassadors for tourism and local business promotion.' There are so many businesses right outside our doors that we have yet to discover. With the help of the Calaveras Visitor's Bureau the community is becoming more aware of what our local businesses have to offer.
