Calaveras Little League Players Participate in Slug Fest 2011

Eight lucky boys from the Calaveras American Little League are participating in the Stockton Slug Fest 2011.
The Slug Fest is a summer baseball camp/program for boys ages 7-14 where they work on baseball skills while having quite a bit of fun.
It is run by All Star Sports and the Stockton Firefighters.  They provide the boys a wonderful BBQ lunch each day and bring in the fire trucks every day to "hose" the boys down.  Needless to say our COpper and AC boys are loving it.  There is a huge commitment, not only on the players part, but on the parents also. The drive to Stockton each day at 8:00 is a much bigger commute than to Mark Twain or Copper School each morning.  The copper boys participating in the Slug Fest this year are Seth & Luke Bakke, Duncan Welch, Ryan Mercado, and Raymond Garcia.
