Copperopolis Community Center Wine Tasting Event a Success

Approximately 125 people came out for the 25th Annual Community Center Wine Tasting Saturday evening held at the Historical Copperopolis Armory.

This event is one of two fund raising events held each year to raise funds for the Copperopolis Community Center. The funds are used to help with restoration of the historical sites in Copperopolis and to share the towns rich history with the public.

The Community Center yearly hosts walking tours of Copperopolis for the Elementary school telling tales of Black Bart, Madam Felix and more. The children visit all the historic sites in town and are regailed with the hilarious story telling skills of Linda Beck.

Many wineries were highlighted Saturday evening including: Albena Munari, Muir Hanna, Bodega Del Sur, Chatom, Frogs Tooth, Kautz Ironstone, Laraine, Millaire, Black Sheep, and Stevenot.

Also pouring and offering samples were Renner Winery and Copperopolis Olive Oil Company, both with tasting rooms in Copperopolis Town Square.
