Firefighter Nathan Fyock Benefit Luncheon

Saturday, August 4^th, The Outback Steakhouse, will be hosting a special benefit luncheon to raise funds for injured firefighter Nathan Fyock and his family. Fyock was struck by a car while battling the Penn Fire in Murphy’s last week and suffered severe injuries.

Update on injured CalFire Firefighter

As of 0830 11-14-11 A Captain with CalFire is still listed in serious condition this morning following the cpartial collapse of a burning building on 11-11-11.
According to the PIO in Sacramento, the Captain "is in good spirits considering" the severity of her injuries. The name is not being released at this time.

The injuries were sustained during a residential fire at Saddle Creek on 11-11-11 where multiple agencies responded.

Also injured, yet treated and released, were a CalFire firefighter and a Copperopolis Fire Protection District volunteer firefighter.
