..HOT WEATHER CONTINUES...

STRONG HIGH PRESSURE REMAINS IN PLACE OVER THE WEST AND WILL BRING
ANOTHER VERY HOT DAY TO THE INTERIOR OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA.
SLIGHT COOLING WILL BE POSSIBLE IN THE DELTA REGION TODAY...BUT
TEMPERATURES ELSEWHERE ARE EXPECTED TO BE SIMILAR TO MONDAY/S
READINGS. PORTIONS OF THE NORTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY ARE EXPECTED
TO SEE HIGH TEMPERATURES ONCE AGAIN EXCEED THE 110 DEGREE MARK
AND MUCH OF THE REST OF THE VALLEY WILL SEE HIGHS ABOVE 105
DEGREES TODAY. THE HOT WEATHER IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE THROUGH THE
WORK WEEK THOUGH READINGS WILL LIKELY COOL SLIGHTLY BEGINNING ON
WEDNESDAY. REMEMBER YOUR HOT WEATHER SAFETY TIPS:

1. DRINK PLENTY OF WATER.
2. NEVER LEAVE CHILDREN OR PETS UNATTENDED IN A VEHICLE.

NORTHERN MOUNTAINS WITH ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS
CONTINUING FROM THE AFTERNOON INTO THE EARLY EVENING. PEOPLE
ENJOYING THE OUTDOORS AT THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS INCLUDING
BACKPACKERS...CAMPERS AND BOATERS SHOULD BE ALERT FOR THE
POSSIBILITY OF THUNDERSTORMS AND SEEK SHELTER IF THREATENING
