Redistricting...Where to Draw the Lines

According to current populations the districts within Calaveras County do not meet the lagel population guidelines for districts. Each district is to be contain no more than 22.5% of the county population and no less than 17.5%.
The following numbers show the current population and percent breakdown per district:
District 1: Tofanelli, 10,269 (22.5%)
District 2: Wilensky, 7,836 (17.2%)
District 3: Callaway, 6,654 (14.6%)
District 4: Tryon, 9,031 (19.8%)
District 5: Spellman, 11,788 (25.9%)

The following maps show the existing district boundries and the proposed new district boundries.
In the proposed district boundries Copperopolis will become part of District 4.
