Deceased Body Found in San Andreas

According to the Calaveras County Sheriff, On June 10-2011 at about 1530 hours a citizen reported finding what was believed to be a deceased person in the parking lot of Treats Store. The Sheriff responded to the scene and determined that the subject was deceased. Nothing suspicious was found at the scene nor was there any evidence of foul play. The subject was transported to San Andreas Memorial Chapel. The official cause of death is pending results of an autopsy. The identity of the subject is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. The investigation is ongoing.

The Sheriff's Office does not anticipate releasing any further information until late Monday or Tuesday.
