How to keep your
computer safe from hackers and other security breaches will be one of the
topics when the Sierra Macintosh Users Group has its monthly meeting Tuesday, May
13 beginning at 7 p.m. in the assembly room of the Ebbetts Pass Fire District,
1037 Blagen Rd., just off Highway 4.
Seth
Summersett, a professional computer programmer, will be making the presentation. He is a graduate of Bret Harte High School
who has gone on to earn a masters degree in computer science. He will be assisted by his mother, Denise,
who is one of SMUG’s registered gurus.
Summersett
will also give tips on how to get the most out of your iMac or iPad. As always, any computer questions will be
welcomed and encouraged.
