September 08, 2014 - 06:38 pm will be the last of our three Supermoons of 2014. THough not in October, this will be the Harvest Moon as it is full Moon nearest the autumnal equinox.

August night sky will light up with supermoon and Perseid meteor shower
The biggest and brightest supermoon of the year is to coincide with the biggest and brightest meteor shower.
August's full moon will be the closest supermoon of the year, when it comes within 356,896km (221,764 miles) of Earth on August 10, 2014.
The Perseid meteor shower, which takes place between 9 and 14 August, is one of the best showers of the year, with at least 100 meteors appearing every hour.
Nasa said the two cosmic shows will "face off" between 10 and 13 August, resulting in what should be a beautiful night sky.

Full moon and Perseid meteor shower to light up the night sky in August

Full moon July 12th
On July 12, 2014, we have the first full moon after the June 21 solstice.
The July 2014 full moon is also the first of three full-moon supermoons in 2014. Previously, we had two supermoons in January – on January 1 and 30 – but they were new-moon supermoons. The full moons on July 12, August 10 and September 9 all enjoy the supermoon designation because the centers of these full moons and the center of Earth are less than 361,863 kilometers (224,851 miles) apart. The closest supermoon of the year comes with the August 10 full moon, with a moon that’s only 356,896 kilometers (221,765 miles) from Earth.
Because it’s a supermoon, and relatively close to Earth, expect higher-than-usual tides in the days ahead.

Full moon and Full lunar eclipse on 4-15-14

April 15 - Full Moon.
The Moon will be directly opposite the Earth from the Sun and will be
fully illuminated as seen from Earth. This phase occurs at 07:42 UTC.
This full moon was known by early Native American tribes as the Full
Pink Moon because it marked the appearance of the moss pink, or wild
ground phlox, which is one of the first spring flowers. This moon has
also been known as the Sprouting Grass Moon and the Growing Moon.

A total lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes completely through
the Earth's dark shadow, or umbra. During this type of eclipse, the Moon
will gradually get darker and then take on a rusty or blood red color.

Harvest Moon 9-18-13
In traditional skylore, the Harvest Moon is the full moon closest to the autumnal equinox. For us in the Northern Hemisphere, the 2013 autumnal equinox comes on September 22.
That makes the September 18-19 full moon the Northern Hemisphere’s
Harvest Moon … a bit of an early one for this year. Meanwhile, in Asia,
this full moon falls on the night of September 19-20.
