Dave Head fundraiser a success!
The Dave Head fundraiser held Saturday January 28, 2012 at the Sports Pub was a glowing success.
The event was held to raise funds for local friend Dave Head who has been diagnosed with bone cancer, prostate cancer, and possible lung cancer. The disease is progressing rapidly as are his medical bills. The event was able to raise money to offest his medical expenses.
Donations are still being accepted. If you would like to donate just drop off your monetary donation at the Sports Pub or mail to Sports Pub 48 Copper Cove Dr Suite B, Copperopolis CA 95228 - please make checks payable to Dave Head.
This photo of Dave Head was supplied by Kyran Enzi of the late CABA organization. Dave was their 'copper miner' for a historical event that highlighted the history of Copperopolis.
On a sad note, the evening of the fund raiser Dave Head received a phone call that his 21 year grandson had been killed that same evening in a vehicle accident near Hollister.

New silent auction items added to Dave Head Fundraiser
Tickets are still available for the Dave Head Fundraiser at the Sports Pub 1-28-12 at 2:00 pm.
Come enjoy dinner and live music by our local rock band Copper Holdings Company.
Silent auction items include a pool table, ping pong table, and a 7 day trip to CABO at a 5 star hotel (airfare and meals not included). There will also be a 50/50 raffle.
All proceeds to offest the costs of medical treatments for friend Dave Head.
