Christopher Columbus Essay Contest Winner Announced
The National Society, Daughters of
the American Revolution in conjunction with the National Italian American
Foundation sponsor an annual essay contest on Christopher Columbus. The Sierra Amador Chapter, NSDAR is pleased
to announce this year’s chapter winner is Monique Salinger who is a 12th
grade student at Argonaut High School.
The essay contest was open to all
students in grades 9 through 12 in public, private, parochial or home schools
throughout Calaveras and Amador counties.
Information regarding the essay contest was distributed to ten eligible
schools in Calaveras County and five eligible schools in Amador County.
