The annual 4th of July Lake Tulloch boat parade was, once again, a spectacular lighted show for all spectators.
Residents and visitors alike lined the shoreline from Kiva to Poker on the eve of July 4th all eager to watch the lighted display.
Thank you McHale family for the photos!

4th of July Lake Tulloch Boat Parade
The annual 4th of July Lake Tulloch Lighted Boat parade will be the usual 'come on and join in' event to begin at South shore approximately 9 pm on July 4th.
Decorate your boat with patriotic lights, streamers, etc. But remember, fireworks that are not Fire Marshal approved as Safe and Sane are illegal on Lake Tulloch. Be safe.

2012 4th of July Boat Parade on Lake Tulloch - a sight to behold
The annual 4th of July Lighted Boat Parade on Lake Tulloch has been floating on now for some years thanks to coordinator Judy Shannon. The event, which gathered 20 + boats, traveled from the South shore of Lake Tulloch at dusk under an almost full moon and wound its way across the lake making its final turn-around at Peninsula Estates by 10:30 pm. The sight was nothing short of spectacular for our little community. One observer stated that it was much like the lighted parade at Disneyland...albeit on a smaller and wetter scale.
People from the shore clapped, lit off fire works and played patriotic music as the boats drifted by.
A beautiful sight.
If anyone would like to share their photos of the lighted boat parade please email them to coppergazette@gmail.com.
