Lake Tulloch Lions Hwy 4 trash clean up a success

It is unclear how many years the Lake Tulloch Lions have cleaned up the stretch of highway between the new Little John extension and O'Byrnes Ferry Road on Hwy 4, but organizer Marilynn Richardson believes it has been done for the past 20 or so years.

The club has a small competition going each year; whoever finds the most odd/interesting item wins a prize. What the prize is no one knows until that day. But it makes for some fun stories after the fact.

This spring Hwy 4 clean up netted about a dozen bags full of trash.
