According to CHP Gary Whittley was traveling Northbound on O'Byrnes Ferry Road by Poker Flat (gate 2) when a pick-up truck reportedly pulled out of Poker Flat making a left turn on to O'Byrnes Ferry Road causing Gary to run off the road and down his motorcycle.
Gary was medi flighted to Doctor's Medical Center in Modesto.
A friend of Gary's reports that Gary is on the mend with multiple broken ribs among other injuries.
