Snap's Hosting of Renner Winery... a Delicious Affair

With the fireplace lit, the heaters glowing, the soft acoustical magic from Danny Burton flowing through the doors, and surrounded by friends sipping great Renner Wines at Snaps was a perfect way to spend a Friday evening.

Rener unveiled three of their January 2011 releases including '09 Renner Viognier, the '08 Canterbury Malbec, and the '08 Renner Syrah. Added to that line up was their well known  '06 Canterbury Shiraz/Cabernet and the '06 Canterbury Syrah.

As my tastes lean toward the sweeter wines, the highlight of the flight for me was the '08 Malbec while the general concensus of my friends was that the '08 Renner Syrah took the cake.

Appetizer's were provided by Drifter's Marina Grill and Panini's.
