‘Taste of the Holidays’ Celebration Coming to Copperopolis Town Square Saturday, November 9

                         Wine and Holiday Extravaganza to Benefit Copper Parks & Recreation, Food Bank

(COPPEROPOLIS, Calif.) – Copperopolis Town Square – the events, shopping and entertainment gathering place in Calaveras County – will host its annual ”Taste of the Holidays” celebration on Saturday, November 9, 2013 from 1 to 4 p.m.

More than a dozen local wineries will pair their offerings with special holiday dishes and desserts prepared by the finest food purveyors in Calaveras County. A silent auction and door prizes are also scheduled.

Event proceeds will benefit Copper Parks and Recreation’s community garden. This garden provides fresh produce to the local food bank for its Holiday Dinners program and other initiatives.
 

“’Taste of the Holidays’ is a fun and festive way to jump start the Holiday season,” says Linda Stefanick, Vice President and Event Director for Castle & Cooke Calaveras, Inc. “Drink delicious wine, sample some outstanding food and enjoy an afternoon with us while doing your part to help neighbors in need.”

Advance tickets cost $20 / person. They may also be purchased on the day of the event for $25 / person. During Taste of the Holidays, the Copper Art Club will showcase a unique collection of original artwork. The pieces are available for purchase with proceeds benefitting community art classes for children and seniors at Town Hall Arts located in Town Square.
