Subject: Major Injury Accident

1 November 2013, at approx. 7:47 pm, Enrico Cocco, 34 of Sonora, was traveling westbound on Stockton Road on a motorized bicycle. Gregory Davies, 65 of Sonora, was traveling eastbound on Stockton Road in a Chevy Prism.
While making a left turn onto Bradford Street, Davies struck Cocco, causing Cocco to be ejected from his motorized bicycle, and the bicycle to come to rest on the hood of Davies vehicle.
Cocco sustained major injuries to his head and upper torso as a result of the collision. Cocco was transported to Sonora Regional Medical Center by ambulance. The investigation into this collision is ongoing.
