CFPD Engineer Booked after threats to Chief
On October 1, 2012 CFPD Engineer Mark Moore was arrested and booked for 422PC which in part states 'any person who willfully threatens to commit a crime which will result in death or great bodily injury to another person.' Moore was bonded out and released.
According to Sheriff Dept PIO Sgt. Hewitt the two victims are CFPD Chief Steve Kovacs and CFPD Battalion Chief Jeff Millar.

CFPD Engineer Booked
Calaveras County Sheriff Booking Logs show Mark Moore, a CFPD Engineer, as being arrested for 422PC which in parts states 'any person who willfully threatens to commit a crime which will result in death or great bodily injury to another person.' Moore was bonded out and released.
CFPD Chief Kovacs had no comment regarding the arrest. When asked if the employee had been placed on administrative leave, he again replied 'the District has no comment.'
