– In Calaveras County, 3 people were arrested by the CHP
between 6:00 pm Friday and 11:59 pm Monday.
All 3 arrests were for Driving Under the Influence. Our Officers handled 3 minor injury accidents
and wrote 21 citations. Most of the
citations were for speeding including several mechanical violations. There was 1 citation issued for passing over
Double Yellow Lines, 1 citation went to a motorist for talking non-hands free
on his cell phone, and another for not wearing his seatbelt.
