During their contact with Lucero, Lucero admitted to her involvement in the Roberts homicide. Following the interview with Lucero, she was arrested without incident and booked into the Tuolumne County Jail for homicide. Bail has been set at one million dollars.
19 June 2014, a search warrant was acquired and served at Lucero’s residence in Twain Harte, where items of evidence were seized. These items have been submitted to the California Department of Justice Lab in Ripon for forensic analysis.
