Sonora PD Press release re: Felony Drug Sales Arrest

2 November 2013, at approx. 8:00 am, an officer was on patrol on the 200 block of Barretta St., when he observed a subject exiting a vehicle. The officer recognized the subject right away from his neck tattoo as being Brian Bockert, 36 of Sonora.
The officer knew that Bockert had two outstanding “no bail” warrants for his arrest for possession and transporting controlled substances and narcotics. The officer contacted Bockert and took him into custody on the two warrants.




A search of Bocket revealed he was in the possession of 6 grams of methamphetamine, 3.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms, over a gram of heroin and marijuana, several methadone pills, along with a record of his sales transactions of these substances.
Bocket was transported to the Tuolumne County Jail and booked for; felony sales of a controlled substance; felony possession of a controlled substance; felony sales of psilocybin; possession of psilocybin; and the two outstanding no bail warrants.
