Copper Hills 4-H Supports Re-Horse Rescue
At
the May 7 Copper Hills 4-H Club Meeting, the members voted to donate
$200 to Raquelle and Tinker at ReHorse Rescue Ranch in Jamestown.
Tinker has incurred a $2500 vet bill as she fights a bone infection in
her left front foot. Copper Hills 4-H has some loving and generous
kids! They worked hard at fund raising to earn their money and we're
proud of each and every one of them for the compassion they showed in
wanting to give back. Way to go 4-Hers, and thank you to Raquelle and
shoer and volunteer Paul Kezis for all they do to save the unwanted,
starving, abused and abandoned horses (and Barney the pig)! Megan
Borzone, President of Copper Hills 4-H, presented the check directly to
Tinker, who handed it over to Raquelle in trade for some horse cookies.
