When families start coming from 'up the hill' to enjoy a Copper Town Square Halloween you know Copper is fast becoming known as the place to be!
Each year the Halloween celebration at Town Square grows, not only in the number of participants, but also in the number of businesses participating to make the event fun for all.
Approximately 500 children passed through Town Square 10-31-11, tipping the scales and beating out last years number of approximately 450 children. With a safe and fun environment, costume contests, trick-or-treating, live music by the Sensations, and friends, the evening was a smashing success.
Thanks again to Linda Stefanick for putting on an amazing two months of community fun events; concerts in the park (parking benefitting 4-H), dog day afternoon (proceeds benefitting the Calaveras Humane Society), scarecrow auction (proceeds benefitting local charities and the Copper Branch Library), trick-or-treat street (benefitting the community of Copper...young and old alike), youth entertainment, Pink in the night (breast cancer awareness), and so much more.
