THE FIRST IMPACTS TO INTERIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA LATER TODAY FROM
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE BRUNT OF THE PRECIPITATION IS LIKELY TO
OCCUR LATE TONIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY NIGHT. SNOW LEVELS WILL DROP FROM
6500 FEET LATE TODAY TO 3000 TO 5000 FEET BY FRIDAY MORNING. SNOW
WILL BEGIN TO ACCUMULATE TONIGHT.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN... FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY
A COLD FRONTAL SYSTEM WILL IMPACT INTERIOR NORTHERN CALIFORNIA TODAY
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. THE BRUNT OF THE PRECIPITATION IS LIKELY TO
OCCUR ON FRIDAY AND FRIDAY NIGHT. SNOW LEVELS WILL DROP FROM 3000 TO
5000 FEET EARLY FRIDAY TO 2000 TO 2500 FEET BY FRIDAY NIGHT. SIERRA
PASSES COULD SEE 6 TO 10 INCHES WHILE AREAS IN THE UPPER FOOTHILLS
COULD SEE A COUPLE INCHES. SCATTERED SHOWERS WILL CONTINUE INTO
THROUGH THE WEEKEND. ANOTHER STORM IS LIKELY TO IMPACT THE AREA
WEDNESDAY INTO THURSDAY.
