...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM PST FRIDAY
ABOVE 2000 FEET...

A WINTER STORM WARNING ABOVE 2000 FEET REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL
10 PM PST FRIDAY.

* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 5 TO 9 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL SNOWFALL ABOVE
  2000 FEET...WITH OVER 18 INCHES NEAR 3000 FEET...BY FRIDAY
  EVENING.

* TIMING: VERY HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED THIS EVENING ABOVE 2000
  FEET. THERE WILL BE A LULL IN THE SNOW LATER THIS EVENING AND
  TONIGHT BEFORE SNOW INCREASES AGAIN FRIDAY MORNING. HEAVY SNOW
  WILL PERSIST THROUGH THE DAY FRIDAY BEFORE TAPERING OFF TO
  SCATTERED SHOWERS FRIDAY EVENING.


* WINDS: SOUTHEAST WINDS 10 TO 15 MPH...WITH GUSTS TO 30 MPH OVER
  ELEVATED TERRAIN AND EXPOSED RIDGES.

* IMPACTS: LOW ELEVATION SNOW. HAZARDOUS TRAVEL CONDITIONS AND
  DANGEROUS BACK COUNTRY TRAVELING CONDITIONS. SLUSHY...MELTING
  SNOW FROM 1500 FEET TO 2000 FEET LATER THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT.
  ICY ROADS.
