Mark Twain Elementary Welcomes New Principal Kevin Triance

Principal Kevin Triance comes to Mark Twain School with a background in education dating back to 1996 where he began his educational career as a 2^nd grade teacher at Val Verde Unified. Throughout his career he has taught at 2^nd, 3^rd, 7^th and 8^th grade levels covering subjects from general education to Algebra and Social Studies. By 2005 Triance became assistant Principal at Frazier Mountain High School but by the end of 2008 felt a need to work with students with different needs and backgrounds transferring to teach within the Los Angeles County Juvenile Youth Camps. Finally, 2012 brought Triance to Mark Twain from his last position held since 2010 as the Opportunity teacher, Athletic Director and Assistant Principal in Plumas County.
