CalTel closed for Thanksgiving

Our offices will be closed Thursday, November28, 2013 and 
Friday, November 29, 2013 in observance of the Thanksgiving 
Holiday.

We will resume our regular business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 
4:30 p.m. on Monday, December 2, 2013

CalTel getting a handle on internet service interuptions

Starting on Tuesday July 16, 2013 CalTel has been suffering from ongoing
DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service) attacks.  There have been several
attacks per day since Tuesday, each lasting from 15 minutes to an hour. 
During each attack, Internet service has been from intermittent to
completely unresponsive.  The good news is that we are making progress
and were able to isolate the latest attack and minimize its effects to
our network. We are monitoring the situation closely and working towards
a permanent solution.  

All of us here at CalTel would like to apologize for any inconvenience
this may have or will cause our customers and ask that you bare with us
as we work towards a solution.
