Bobby Rapp motorcycle run hits Copper
On 4-12-14 the 6th annual Bobby Rapp motorcycle run had a pit stop in Copperopolis Town Square.
The annual motorcycle run, named after fallen soldier Bobby Rapp, raises funds for scholarships for Tuolumne county students.
To date the event has raised and gifted $51,000.00 in scholarship monies to Tuolumne County High School students.

Bobby Rapp Memorial Run - committed riders support further education
The 2012 Bobby Rapp Memorial Sholarship Run will provide 5 Scholarships, to High Schools in Tuolumne County, in the name of Sgt Bobby Rapp, Killed -In -Action in Afghanistan.
The Vietnam Veterans Motorcycle Riders Group of Chapter 391,in Sonora, Ca. sponsor the yearly event which involves riders from all walks of life joining together in a common goal...honoring the memory of Sgt Bobby Rapp while supplying an educational opportunity for 5 select students.
According to a spokesperson from the VVA 391 the scholarship involves a high GPA and an entry essay with a patriotic theme ie; what America means to me. There is no requirement that the scholarship submission be from a child related to a Veteran.
The first stop of the Poker Run 2012 was the Sports Pub in Copperopolis.
