SAN ANDREAS, CA, July 3, 2014- Mark Twain Medical Center, (MTMC), Hospital President Craig Marks announces the successful recruitment of Board Certified Family Practice Physician Dr. Mark Faryan, D.O. to serve the San Andreas Medical Center.
“Dr. Faryan has demonstrated a long commitment of outstanding care in the community of Amador County in his private practice,” said Craig Marks, Hospital President. “He has been serving the Amador and Calaveras residents for over twenty three years in the clinical setting. We feel that he will be a valuable asset to the MTMC care team at our San Andreas Medical Center.”
Dr. Mark Faryan earned his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine/Andrew Taylor Still College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, MO. He obtained his Internship at Carson City Hospital, Carson City; MI. Dr. Faryan completed his Family Practice Residency at Pacific Hospital of Long Beach, Long Beach, California. He also holds a Bachelors of Science in Zoology, with studies concentrating on Forestry, Wildlife, and soil & water resources, from Southern Illinois University.
Dr. Faryan’s hobbies include; Hiking, Snowshoeing, Gardening, Boating, and other family activities.
