The family day and sidewalk sale will be headlined by an appearance from Miss USA 2011, Alyssa Campanella. Star of a recent Super Bowl KIA commercial (which can be seen here), she will host a 1 p.m. fashion show in the town square and afterward appear at PHE Beautique to sign autographs.
Live music from three youth bands – High Voltage, Breaking Chains and T-Minus Ten – will be featured. All have made recent headlines and will also sign autographs for their followers. High Voltage and Breaking Chainz are both from the Modesto area and T Minus Ten is from Copperopolis and the Foothills.
Activities for children include a petting zoo, horseback rides, “bunny bingo,” arts and crafts, kite flying and a “bounce house.” A hopscotch contest and “Hula Hoop-Off” will entertain young and old. A rock climbing wall will also be available to adults and older children.
