San Andreas Woman Arrested for Commercial Burglary
(San Andreas, CA) On 04/09/12 Calaveras Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the San Andreas Mini Mart for a report of a theft. Upon arrival the deputies learned that the store owner witnessed Krista Lyn Jardine (25) of San Andreas, pick up a bottle of wine from the store, put it in her purse, and walk out the store. The store owner confronted Ms. Jardine outside and brought her back inside the store without incident. When questioned, Ms. Jardine admitted to stealing the wine. She said that she did not have money to pay for the wine, and had pre-planned the theft prior to entering the store. Ms. Jardine was booked into the Calaveras jail on the charge of 2nd Degree Burglary (a felony).
