At the July 12, 2011 Board of Supervisors Meeting the Board of Supervisors congratulated County Counsel Jim Jones on his retirement, awarding him a plaque recognizing his work and efforts for the previous 7 years “giving sound legal advice.” Each Supervisor took an opportunity to thank him for all his contributions.
Jim, in turn, thanked the Board saying, “It’s been a great pleasure to work for you and I appreciate it.”
Jim Jones succesor will be the current assistant County Counsel Janis Elliot.
