The Post also has recently formed an Honor Guard, consisting of a full compliment with seven M1Garand rifles and a bugle. Honor guards are used for memorial services and flag ceremonies which include a 21 gun salute.
The VFW Post 12118 Honor Guard will be present and officiating the Memorial Day Flag Ceremony at Copperopolis Cemetery at 10 am on May 26, 2014.
