On May 5, 2014 at approximately 7:00 PM
an officer from the Angels Camp Police Department conducted a traffic
enforcement stop on Hwy 4 near North Main Street. The occupants of the
vehicle were identified as 38 year old Arnold resident, Daniel Hill and
42 year old Arnold resident, James Qualls.
During
the contact the vehicle was searched and officers located approximately
24 grams of methamphetamine and a methamphetamine pipe.
Hills
and Qualls were arrested and booked in to the Calaveras County Jail for
Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Controlled
Substance for Sale, Transportation of a Controlled Substance, and
Possession of Narcotic Paraphernalia.
