11 September 2012, at approx. 6:14 am, a school bus driver called the
Sonora Police Department and reported that they observed two male
subjects exiting through the front broken window of BJ’s Cards and
Collectables, located at 45 S. Washington Street, carrying bags. The two
subjects got into a van parked in front of the business and drove off
eastbound on Bradford Street. Two other witnesses contacted the police
department and provided information regarding the suspects and their
vehicle.
One of the subjects is described as being a black male, wearing
sunglasses, with wavy or curly hair. The other subject is described as
having a dark complexion with dark hair. Both are described as being
heavy set. The vehicle is described as being an older white Chevy Astro
van, white in color with tinted back windows.
Items taken were coins, baseball cards and football cards.
