This is an all day ride that goes past Peddler Hill Overlook, Kirkwood Ski Resort, Carson Pass, Grover Hot Springs, "Big Trees", Bear Valley Ski Resort, historic Columbia and Sonora. Bring a bathing suit and stop in for a dip at the all natural Grover Hot Springs near Markeeville. Bring warm clothes as it can get cold at the passes. And be carefull on the east side of Rt. 4, it's narrow and can have sand on the curves. Best ridden late May through end of September.

Quick turn left on Rawhide Rd, go 4 miles
Turn left at CA-49, go 38 miles
Turn right at CA-88, go 76 miles
Turn right at CA-89, go 11 miles
Stay right at CA-4 (89 splits left), go 71 miles
Turn left on Parrots Ferry Road CR-E18, go 11 miles
Turn left at CA-49, go 4 miles
Turn right on CA-108 West, go 2 miles
Arrive at the center of JAMESTOWN, CA.
