Psychiatrist joins staff at Mark Twain Medical Center



Dr. Sanaz Kalantarzadeh to practice at the Angels Camp and Arnold Medical Centers

SAN ANDREAS, CA – September 26, 2014– Mark Twain Medical Center (MTMC) is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sanaz Kalantarzadeh (Dr. K) to the Angels Camp and Arnold Medical Centers, to practice psychiatry.

 “There is a large population of underserved Mental Health patients in Calaveras County,” commented Craig Marks, “Dr. Sanaz Kalantarzadeh will be able to meet those needs in our Medical Centers. She has a very broad range of psychiatric expertise from pediatrics to geriatrics. Her strong educational background and warm personality are a perfect fit for Calaveras County.”


 

In 2011, Dr. K along with her husband Dr. Parsa and their two children, moved to California where she served as a Forensic Psychiatrist at the San Quentin State Prison in San Francisco. 

My family’s love for nature and outdoors has brought us to the beautiful town of Murphys,” stated Dr. K.  “I understand the value and importance of teaching and discussing clinical issues and medications with my patients.

Dr. K has joined the Arnold Medical Center with providers Dr. Andrea Greenfeld Jerry Nadler, MD, Stephanie Peffer, FNP, and Leanne Watkins, PA. As well as the Angels Camp Medical Center team of Dr. John Anderson, Dr. Andrea Greenfeld, and Star Hildabrand, PA.
