Celebrate Statehood Day at the Angels Camp Museum

Monday, September 8, 1 - 3 p.m.
'California History Through Its Flags' Workshop
Story & Replica Flags by Jim Miller
Workshop open to both adults and kids
California has never been a stranger to strife or conflict and historically, some of those moments have brought about profound change. These historical incidents are often recognized by the flags created before, during or after the events. Accurate replica flags used in this presentation give substance to these stories and contribute to the appreciation of our State’s history.
There will be an activity after the talk for those who wish to craft a small version of the original California Bear Flag.
