CCWD press release re: Water main under repair near Hathaway Pines update: line repaired

12:20 6-26-14 update:
Calaveras County Water District field crews repaired a leak in a water line in Hathaway Pines that caused water to be turned off in the area of Sunrise Point from about 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21. About 70 customers were affected.
Water transmission lines will be spot-flushed and customers may experience brown water and air in their water lines. Even if the water is slightly brown, it is completely safe to drink. The district recommends customers turn on an outside line in order to flush their personal plumbing systems if needed. Wait until the water runs clear, and the system should function normally
