Tuolumne Utilities District Board voted this week to enact immediate mandatory water restrictions due to drought conditions for their customers.
CCWD has not reached that level yet, but is still requesting customers to impose upon themselves a 20 gallon reduction per day use of water.
However according to the CCWD press release CCWD retains the ability to "implement
appropriate programs and policies to address water conservation" as the "drought picture becomes more clear."
