IGA generously donated the bottled water for this event as well as giving a generous discount on the food and sodas. The Copper Firemen supplied the space, canopies, tables, ice and propane; not to mention their labor, setting up and cleaning up.

It was a day of fun, food and celebrating our freedom thanking our veterans.

The proceeds from the hotdog booth were given the the local James D Piper VFW Post 12118 of Copperopolis.

The VFW is an organization of Veterans of Foreign Wars who gather to support each other and their community at large. They work with vets in need and make sure to get services to our rural areas. If you are interested in the VFW please call Commander Al Gilbert at 785-4218.
