Car Club Makes the Day for residents at Foothill Village

The Sierra Angels Car Club came out in full force with cars shinning like new to their 9th annual car show and BBQ for the residents of Foothill Village on Saturday October 12, 2013.

27 collector style cars arrived in caravan style at 9:30 am in the Foothill Village parking lot and set up a wonderful display for all the residents to view. As the residents took a trip down memory lane the members of the car club began to BBQ.

The club cooked hamburgers and hotdogs for every person present, including the staff. They began serving at 11 am and the"serving and didn't stop till everyone was served." Said Al Gilbert. "We cooked 80 hamburgers and 64 hotdogs. Everyone had a great time and God willing, we will return next year for our tenth."
