Gov signs more legislation

SACRAMENTO – Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. today announced that he has signed the following bills.


• AB 370 by Assemblymember Al Muratsuchi (D-Torrance) – Consumers: internet privacy.
• AB 478 Assemblymember Jimmy Gomez (D-Los Angeles) – State employees: memorandum of understanding.
• AB 501 by Assemblymember Adrin Nazarian (D-Sherman Oaks) – Vehicles.
• AB 701 by Assemblymember Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) – General Subject: Local government finance: property tax revenue allocation: vehicle license fee adjustments: County of Orange.
• AB 730 by Assemblymember Luis Alejo (D-Salinas) – Monterey-Salinas Transit District.
• AB 1149 by Assemblymember Nora Campos (D-San Jose) – Identity theft: local agencies.
• SB 46 by Senator Ellen Corbett (D-Hayward) – Personal information: privacy.
• SB 102 by the Committee on Budget and Fiscal Review – State employees: memoranda of understanding.
• SB 566 by Senator Mark Leno (D-San Francisco) – Industrial hemp.
• SB 670 by Senator Darrell Steinberg (D-Sacramento) – Physicians and surgeons: drug prescribing privileges: investigation.
• SB 809 by Senator Mark DeSaulnier (D-Concord) – Controlled substances: reporting.

The Governor also announced that he has vetoed the following bill.

• SB 62 by Senator Ted W. Lieu (D-Torrance) – Coroners: reporting requirements: prescription drug use. A veto message can be found here.
