...HOT TEMPERATURES FOR INTERIOR OF NORTHERN CALIFORNIA THIS
WEEKEND...FOLLOWED BY A CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS
NEXT WEEK...

*  HIGH TEMPERATURES: 106 TO 112 IN THE NORTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY
   AND 100 TO 105 IN THE SOUTHERN SACRAMENTO VALLEY AND NORTHERN
   SAN JOAQUIN VALLEY. 80S AND 90S IN THE MOUNTAINS. TODAY WILL BE
   THE HOTTEST DAY...WITH GRADUAL COOLING SUNDAY AND MONDAY.

*  THUNDERSTORM CHANCES: SLIGHT CHANCE OVER THE SIERRA NEVADA
   SOUTH OF TAHOE THIS WEEKEND. THE CHANCE OF THUNDERSTORMS
   INCREASES TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY AND SPREADS TO INCLUDE ALL OF
   THE SIERRA...SOUTHERN CASCADES...AND NORCAL COASTAL MOUNTAINS.

*  PRECAUTIONS: DRINK PLENTY OF WATER. AVOID OUTDOOR ACTIVITY
   DURING THE HOTTEST PART OF THE DAY. MONITOR CHILDREN...THE
   ELDERLY...AND PETS.
