Memorial for Nynette Michael Barnes

Nynette Michael Barnes – 47
Nynette Michael Barnes passed away at the UC Davis Medical Center on May 23, 2013 surrounded in prayer by her loving family. At her side during her last rights, and in her final hours were her parents Larry and Sherry Barnes, Brother Mark with his wife & family, her best friend and love Mike Bledsoe and family, Uncle Barry, Aunt Gracie and cousins Cheryl and Erin. Grandma Virginia Jean Olmstead and Aunt Terrea Roberson also stopped in to pray and hold her hand. She is survived by many other aunts, uncles and cousins in the Barnes and Roberson families, and friends that live in distant cities across the country. She has touched the hearts of so many in her travels through life and will be missed by them all.

Nynette Barnes was born in Torrance, CA on October 9, 1965; this we easily remembered because she sent a 30 day notice every yearsince she was six years old. Nynette was beautiful and engaging from birth and found it easy to captivate the crowd around her. However, there was no shortage of challenges for all that knew Nynette but these were dwarfed by her contributions to life. She had a special perspective on life forged by a combination trouble and triumph from it. Her personality and character were filled with exploration and love of people which she liked to share with others. Nynette’s interests where usually in other people’s business and lives; she believed that a positive attitude could overcome anything and she had an experience that would prove the point. Anyone standing near her was fair game for a conversation and not many opportunities were missed. She strolled through life and spread a lot of love everywhere she went. She crammed more living in her short life than most people nearly twice her age.
The family would like to express a special thanks to Uncle Barry, Cousin Cheryl and our daughter Amber for their extraordinary support in this difficult and sorrowful time.

There will be a celebration of Nynette’s life on Sunday June 2, 2013 at the Calyptso Beach Clubhouse……………………………….
