Calaveras County's top probation officer is leaving her post. After 24
years with probation department, Teri Hall is retiring as Chief
Probation Officer. Hall worked her way up the ladder in the department
and in 2010 took over in the top spot. She turns 50 this month and is
taking the offer given to law enforcement officers of 3 percent of her
final pay for each year served.
