Tactical Rifle Class hits Copper

Calaveras Tactical, a firearms instruction school located in Copperopolis, offered a level 1 tactical rifle course on September 23, 2012 on a private range here in Copper. The class, filled with experienced and new gun owners alike, covered ALL the basics of rifle safety, shooting and accuracy.

Owner/instructor Steve Nelson states, "Whether you are running an AR-15, AK or anything in between" this course offers you the education and training to "defend yourself with a rifle. This course reviews the fundamentals of rifle shooting, accuracy and speed, reloading, immediate action drills (malfunction drills), use of cover and shooting on the move. This course is a blast!"

The course required prerequisites of NRA Basic Rifle, DD214 or demonstration of safe rifle handling.
