Local Navy Veteran needs our help

Recently a local Navy veteran, Kendel Zolezzi was diagnosed with a disease called hemochromomatosis. This disease is also referred to as 'iron overload' as too much iron is in the blood causing pain, loss of energy, weakness, skin discoloration and more.

Through a procedure called phlebotomy, one liter of blood is removed from the body each week until the iron level is normal. Kendel will be undergoing this treatment for thirty weeks at a cost of $300.00 per transfusion.

If you would like to help, the family is asking for friends to donate blood in his name to the delta blood bank (it must be through Delta blood bank). Angels camp Delta blood bank is 10 am to 4:30 pm (Friday & Saturday only) - Sonora is 9 am to 4:30 from Wed. - Saturday.
