Firefighter Nathan Fyock Benefit Luncheon

Saturday, August 4th, The Outback Steakhouse, will be hosting a special benefit luncheon to raise funds for injured firefighter Nathan Fyock and his family. Fyock was struck by a car while battling the Penn Fire in Murphy’s last week and suffered severe injuries.

Tickets for this event are being sold in advance for a minimum donation of $15 at The Outback Steakhouse, 2045-D West Briggsmore Ave., Modesto, CA 95350. One hundred percent of ticket donations go directly to the Fyock family. Supporters can stop by Saturday, anytime from 12pm – 2:00pm to enjoy a full meal. Some of the items being offered on this special menu include: The Bloomin’ Onion, Caesar Salad, Potato Soup, Outback’s Signature Sirloin, Grilled Chicken on the Barbie, Norwegian Salmon, Non-Alcoholic Beverages, and a variety of delicious side dishes.

For those in the community who are unable to attend and would still like to contribute to the Fyock family, donations will gladly be accepted at The Outback Steakhouse in lieu of a ticket purchase, during normal business hours, today through Friday, August 3rd .  Alternatively, an account has been set up at El Dorado Savings Bank. Donations can be made at any branch by mentioning the Nathan Fyock Donation Account.

A great big thank you goes out to Doug Zink, owner of The Outback, and his employees for their overwhelming support and generosity, the employees at Best Buy for their gracious donation, as well as Modesto City Firefighters Local Union 1289 and the Modesto community for embracing this wonderful family.
