Three Stolen Motorcycles Recovered in Valley Springs

(Valley Springs, CA) On 03/15/2012 at approx. 9:35 AM deputies from the Calaveras County Sheriff's office were dispatched to the 2300 block of Blake Lane in Valley Springs to investigate a report of child abuse. Upon arrival the deputies contacted Bradley Joseph Flores (42) of Valley Springs and his nephew, Ruben Sanchez (20) of Valley Springs. During the investigation at the residence deputies located an indoor marijuana grow operation and discovered three stolen off-road motorcycles outside the residence that had been reported stolen out of San Joaquin County. The total value of the motorcycles was over $6,000. The indoor grow was reported to be an approved medical marijuana operation. Flores and Sanchez were taken into custody and booked into the Calaveras County Jail. Flores is currently in custody at the Calaveras County Jail on charges of 273(a) PC, 10851(a) VC, 496(a) PC, 496(d) PC. Sanchez is currently out on bail on charges of 10851(a) VC and 496(a) PC. This case is still under investigation.
